Biography

Dr. Christiaens began her career as a school nurse in the Salt Lake City School District. She received her Master's Degree in Nursing at the Uninversity of Utah, where she taught Community Health, Health Assessment, Capstone and Fundamentals of Nursing. She taught at Brigham Young University College of Nursing for ten years, during which time she earned a PhD in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University. She was the Dean of Nursing at Fortis College in Salt Lake City, hosted the Glenda the Good Nurse radio talk show, and operated a consulting and public speaking business. Dr. Christiaens is an advanced certified holistc nurse and past president of the American Holistic Nurses Association.
