Biography
Wright Horton is a Research Geologist in the USGS Eastern Geology and Paleoclimate Science Center. He is an authority on southern and central Appalachian geology, served as co-leader and leader of the USGS Chesapeake Bay Impact Crater Project, explored terranes and basins beneath the Atlantic Coastal Plain, and is involved in eastern U.S. earthquake studies.
