Biography
Steve McCormick is a Senior Scientist and Research Physiologist at the Conte Anadromous Fish Research Laboratory in Turners Falls, MA. Steve received his B.S. in Biology and Economics from Bates College in 1977 and then worked for a commercial toxicology lab for a year. He then started graduate school at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Joint Program in Oceanography and completed his degree in 1983. Postdoctoral fellowships with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans at St. Andrews Biological Station and then at the University of California, Berkeley rounded out his training before starting his current position in 1990.
