Biography
Mr. Beattie was named Vice President, Project Management in October 2017. He leads a team responsible for offshore and onshore project management. Mr. Beattie previously served as Director, International and Deepwater Project Management.
Research Interest
He has been involved in deepwater projects for Anadarko since 1997, serving as project manager for the Caesar-Tonga project in the Gulf of Mexico, the Peregrino development offshore Brazil and the Constitution field development in the central Gulf of Mexico. His career began in 1989 with Exxon Production Research Company’s Offshore Division where he worked as an engineer in the design of offshore production platforms in the Gulf of Mexico and Southeast Asia. He later joined Enercon Engineering as a supervisor in the structural engineering department.
