Biography
Mr. Mehlhop was named Vice President, International Exploration in December 2016. In this role he leverages valuable experience and knowledge gained from past roles in successful deepwater projects from the Gulf of Mexico sub-salt, Brazil pre-salt, West Africa Cretaceous fans and frontier exploration in Mozambique and Colombia. Mr. Mehlhop joined Anadarko in 1997 and has serviced in various roles including, prospector, leader and project manager in diverse business settings including onshore U.S. unconventional plays, offshore deepwater plays and international projects in 14 different countries.
Research Interest
Mr. Mehlhop holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
