Dr. Serge Gradstein

Biography

A French native with over three decades of experience in medicine, Dr. Serge joined Family Medical Practice in January 2012. Prior to that, his work and studies were divided between Paris and Israel.   Initially specializing in pediatrics, he later moved on to infectious diseases, and now focuses on both that and sexual health, including sexually transmitted disease—saying that his career choices have been driven by a combination of both passion and skill.   When he finds himself with some time outside the clinic, Dr. Serge is an enthusiastic student of history, a keen sailor, a lover of music, and an active trekker.   He received his MD in Paris at Rene Descartes University Paris 5, and completed his residency in pediatrics at Israel’s Kaplan University and his residency in infectious diseases at Soroka Hospital, also in Israel. He is fluent in Hebrew, French and English.
