Biography
Graduating from University College Lillebælt in Denmark in 2005, I quickly found my call in the Physiotherapy profession in Pediatrics. I have worked in different settings from Special Needs Centers to Nursery Schools and 24 hour Care Institutions. I find working with children inspiring and giving. My experience ranges from children and adolescents with special needs to children with mild developmental and/or learning disabilities. I like to work using a Family Centered approach, believing that the parents or caregivers are the experts on their own child, and I am merely a facilitator ensuring that their children are given the best basis to reach their goals in life. I believe physiotherapy for children should be fun and always have an essence of playfulness in mind, so the child has a positive experience and wants to do it again – because in most cases repetition is the ground for learning and developing.
