Biography

 Executive Vice President and General Manager to CEO Level, with over 30 years’ experience in Sales, Service, Marketing, Development and Manufacturing of Lab and Analytical Instrument, Consumables, Reagents and Software. In my current position I have the overall responsibility for the worldwide Sartorius Lab Products and Services Division. Attained a revenue level of 325 million EURO in 2016, with direct accountability for over 750 employees in sales, service and marketing and dotted line responsibility for another 1,300 employees in R&D, Commercial Operations and Manufacturing. Established track record of transforming businesses and successfully integrating acquisitions. Adept in providing new strategic directions matched with skilful execution and change management based on coaching and mentoring to deliver lasting cultural change and performance. Proven ability to profitably grow businesses around the world (Japan, APAC, EMEA, USA). High level of proficiency in building brands as well as powerful sales and service organisations to execute business strategy. Experienced and accomplished in direct sales to market as well as channel sales strategies. Very strong people skills and emotional intelligence paired with excellent social skills and the innate talent to lead diverse multicultural teams. Keen understanding of manufacturer-distributor (business partner)-customer relationships paired with excellent market and application knowledge. Experienced in strategic product management and product development with a sound understanding of strategic marketing.
