Biography

My primary objective of teaching is to make a difference in the lives of our students. I challenge students to develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities to be the best that they can be both in and out of the classroom. I encourage students to find value and meaning in their academic experience. My philosophy of teaching focuses on a diversity of instructional applications. To provide interest and methods for everyone, I utilize a variety of teaching techniques from lecture to individual and team assignments to use of technology and even off-site audit simulations. With over 20 years of practical work experience, I enjoy sharing real-life situations in the classroom to enhance accounting discussions. With hard work and commitment to excellence, each student has as an opportunity to succeed at learning and applying accounting in their personal and professional life.
