Biography
Degrees: B.S., Chinese Culture University; M.S., National Chung-Hsing University; Ph.D., North Carolina State University. Teaching Philosophy: Students learn economic and statistical theory best when they see how it can be applied in real life. Instructors improve teaching from regular feedback from students and other instructors. It is learning, not teaching that matters. Academicians are trained to expound ideas. But, good teaching requires an altogether different mind-set, to focus on the students' growth and struggle to acquire those ideas.
