Biography
I think a sense of humor and a passion for teaching are essential in every class. I want my students to learn to think critically, to develop their writing skills, and to develop an appreciation for literature, but I want them to enjoy learning and coming to my class. I want my students to feel free to express themselves and at the same time learn to respect those who have a different opinion. I enjoy maintaining the free book table in Trustees. It’s interesting to read the responses to the question of the week. My two favorite quotations are "What remains is the last of human freedoms, the ability to choose one's attitude in a given set of circumstances" (Viktor Frankl) and "Illegitimi non carborudum" (unknown).
