Biography
Dr. Schulken has extensive clinical practice experience, primarily in orthopedics and sports medicine, but also with a strong background in Industrial Rehabilitation. Prior to joining the DPT faculty, she served 4 years as a staff physical therapist at the Womack Army Medical Center at Ft. Bragg NC. She also served 21 years as a Physical Therapist and the Regional Outpatient Supervisor for the Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville NC. Dr. Schulken received her B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse, M.B.A. with a concentration in Health Care Management from Fayetteville State University, and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Marymount University. She is licensed to practice physical therapy in North Carolina and is an ABPTS Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the Orthopedic section of the APTA.
